About CyberGuardian22

Advisory depth, execution discipline, and accountability for the work we produce

We're a specialized cloud, data, and security advisory firm. We serve IT and security leaders in higher education, SMB, and mid-market organizations who need a partner that can translate complex technical decisions into business-aligned strategy—and then stay through implementation.

Who we are

CyberGuardian22 is a technology advisory and services firm with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud data architecture, cybersecurity, and cloud resilience. We work primarily with organizations in higher education, healthcare-adjacent, and mid-market sectors that need sophisticated guidance without the overhead of a large consulting engagement.

Our practice is built around the recognition that most IT teams are understaffed relative to the complexity of the environments they operate. We fill that gap with senior-level expertise, clear deliverables, and genuine accountability for the quality of our work.

We don't generate slide decks and disappear. We don't sell licenses. We don't introduce complexity to manufacture ongoing dependency. We design, build, document, and transfer—leaving organizations with cloud environments they understand and can operate.

How We Work

Our approach to every engagement

Our delivery model is built around a few principles that have proven consistently valuable—across client sizes, sectors, and technical environments.

01
We start with discovery, not recommendations
Every environment is different. We invest in understanding your current infrastructure, constraints, organizational dynamics, and priorities before forming any recommendations. Advice based on assumptions isn't advice—it's guessing. We don't guess.
02
Strategy and implementation are inseparable
We design solutions we're prepared to build and stand behind. That means our recommendations are informed by implementation reality—not theoretical best practices that don't account for your actual environment, team capacity, or budget constraints.
03
Documentation is part of the deliverable
Architecture decisions are documented. Configurations are recorded. Runbooks are written. We produce written deliverables that your team can use, maintain, and hand off—not just artifacts of conversations that happened during the engagement.
04
We build for recoverability across every practice area
In cloud governance, we design with recovery in mind. In data architecture, we build pipelines that can be rerun. In security, we include incident response in the posture work. In backup, we validate recovery, not just backup. Resilience isn't a separate service—it's an engineering philosophy.
05
We prefer simplicity that works over complexity that impresses
The right architecture is the simplest one that meets requirements. We resist overengineering. We resist vendor-driven complexity. We resist solutions that require perpetual consultant support to operate. The best outcome of an engagement is a client that understands and can maintain what was built.
06
We communicate at both the technical and executive level
The translation between infrastructure-level technical detail and board-level business risk is often the most valuable thing we provide. We produce deliverables appropriate for IT operations and for executive stakeholders—without sacrificing accuracy in either direction.
Where We Work

The organizations we serve best

Our expertise translates across sectors, but we have particular depth in environments with complex compliance requirements, constrained internal IT capacity, and high accountability for availability and data protection.

Higher Education
Colleges, universities, and school districts managing Azure infrastructure, student data systems, and compliance requirements (FERPA, GLBA, state-level regulations) with limited internal cloud expertise.
SMB & Mid-Market
Organizations with 50–500 users that have moved to Azure and Microsoft 365 but haven't built the governance, security, and data infrastructure to match the sophistication their operations require.
Compliance-Sensitive Industries
Healthcare-adjacent, government contractors, financial services, and other organizations operating under regulatory frameworks that require documented, defensible cloud security postures and data governance practices.
"The organizations we work with best aren't looking for a vendor relationship. They're looking for a technical partner who will tell them the truth about their environment, stay through the hard parts, and leave them better positioned than they were before we arrived."
